We went to a fantastic boating birthday party on lake at Victoria Park in Hackney. It was a beautiful day and Tanya and Graham hired about 12 pedalos and rowing boats(balloons attached ),at least one adult in each boat, all kids in life jackets- they had a ball ! They paddled & rowed under bridges, around the pagoda, down to the water fall and back towards the fountain. Some played ‘chicken’ in and out of the fountain, some got stuck under the fountain which caused great hilarity,mentioning no names!

Then on to a beautiful birthday picnic,with blankets on the ground and bunting strung between the trees.They ate, danced ,had water fights with water pistols & ice cubes.A brilliant time was had by all !
