We have half term this week, which seems to be a week before the rest of London! Most half term activities seem to be on next week which is a real shame but one benefit is no queues!
I’ve started to put together a plan that includes going to legoland, Mile End Climbing Centre, Natural History Museum and either Kew Gardens ( treetop walkway) or the RSPB reserve in Rainham in Essex. On the days that we’re not out & about I’m hoping to bake one day, maybe a trip to Hackney Picture House and then a day doing absolutely NOTHING !
I have a brilliant film in reserve , National Velvet , the original one with Elizabeth Taylor. It’s a fantastic film, great if you have girls who love horses. The race gets the kids roaring ’ Come on Pie’, leaping up & down.We can bake a cake before hand using an Ikea horse cake tin & then snuggle down to watch it !
