Kids still love pass the parcel, I always find it a bit of a nightmare, especially trying to remember who’s had a go etc etc. For very little ones I always put a small treat , e.g. a packet of haribos in each layer , just to keep everyone smiling !

I love using different types of paper for wrapping, from newspapers to old architectural drawings. This time we printed on plain brown paper & did paintings to use as wrappings as well. It really helps to have each layer of paper looking dramatically different ,so the kids don’t just keep unwrapping ! Another tip is to have the final wrapping on a gold or glittery paper , just to remind you that it’s the last one!
