1. Weekly Home Spa?

I don’t know about you but this weather plays havoc with my skin! The mix of central heating & cold, biting wind make my skin so dry. One of my new year’s resolutions is to have a weekly ‘home spa’, you know, moisturising bath, face pack & hair pack etc.I even bought some white cotton gloves & socks for an intensive over night treatment for my hands & feet ¬†although that didn’t go down so well with LH…a bit too Miss Haversham for him!I suppose there is some entertainment value, the kids think it’s hilarious to come into the bath room to point & laugh at me although they are learning how to give manicure & pedicures ( just the moisturising & massage parts).

In all seriousness though it is a real treat, so if you’re looking for a gift then I’d really recommend some spa goodies for a home treatment or a spa voucher.

Daisy gave Granna Anna manicure vouchers for christmas & it was sweet to see the two of them deep in conversation at the kitchen table, Granddaughter massaging her Granna’s hands!

Alternatively if you’re looking for a treat try the Spa at York Hall, it’s so good to spent a relaxing afternoon going into the sauna’s & steam rooms. The basic package is ¬£25, treatments are extra.
